Crocheting For a Cause

Chelle Baxter broke both of her arms when she tripped and fell on brick and also lost six family members within six months in 2008, including her parents. Her way of healing was crocheting every single day! She also went through Grief Recovery class.

Chelle has been volunteer-teaching Grief Recovery since January 2009. Looking back now, she realizes she actually had six guardian angels and two wings to help her through that difficult time in her life.

She recently began Crochet4Cause after deciding one day she wanted to use the same method that helped her heal to help others get their lives on track, too!

Whenever an item is sold, another of the same item is donated to a cause or part of those sale proceeds go towards a cause (check out the “Causes” pages to learn more); each item description lists which cause the sale of the item benefits.

Shop for beanie hats, baby items, housewares (pillows, throw blankets), dog sweaters and lots more at crochet4cause.org (Fifty percent off all items now through Dec. 25).

If you’d like to donate to help cover the cost of yarn used for the donated items, you can either by paypal.com, by e-mailing Crochet4Cause@aol.com, or you can mail Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby gift cards to:
